(Founder and the mastermind behind VULVA STORIES) and also known under my business Too Fabulous Art & Crafts.
I think of myself as a textile artist with a conscious vibe.
When I decided to organise VULVA STORIES, I wanted to create a safe space. A platform where people could connect emotionally through art. What emerged, time and again, was something truly magical: an exhibition bringing together diverse artists, each sharing unique stories, all connected by one common thread... their vulvas.
VULVA STORIES evolved into a vibrant fusion of art, music, and words—a weaving together of joy, pain, power, humour, and the wild ride of womanhood and community. This electrifying celebration of raw energy is unapologetically real.
Together, we explored themes of menstruation, pleasure, power, birth, trauma, healing, and the ever-changing hormonal journey through life.
I'm also known for my provocative Vulva Felting Workshops and for a cheeky appearance on Ireland AM, where I shared my personal story of reclaiming my power after undergoing a hysterectomy during the pandemic and I was asked to explain the difference between a vulva and a vagina at 9am in the morning …in Ireland! WOW…
My work challenges taboos, reclaims the narrative of the female experience, and invites people to see the vulva beyond sexualisation. By opening up honest conversations about "stuff" that has too often been whispered about or ignored, I hope to normalise these conversations—and while we're at it, let's reclaim the word vulva, because that's what it's called. At its heart, my work is an invitation to make, to talk, to listen, and to remember that the vulva is not something to hide, but simply another part of being human.

Sinéad Giblin is my right arm & second in command with organising VULVA STORIES. I met her many moons ago (maybe 13yrs or more) around a table of crafters and we clicked immediately. Slowly & through time we became good mates! She is a very unique gal and always ready to be random with me and ...she can read my creative brain so well that organically she became my "right arm" in organising VULVA STORIES.
She is so talented in many ways, all the graphics, designs etc comes from her beautifully talented brain and she sends me the most entertaining voice messages or as we call them "waffles" ..I'm so grateful for her friendship and her immense and diverse talents....thank you for following my madness! Now here is what the legend has to say for herself:
Sinéad Giblin is a lifelong artist, combining and embracing any and all mediums. Creating pieces that come from quietly reflecting within herself and hopefully providing comfort, levity or entertainment to those that encounter it. Born and raised in Dublin, she has always kept her native tongue close to heart and firmly in her cheek.

Sonya Mulligan - What a great artist & pal she is and a natural powerhouse! I’ve known her for over a decade and when I was getting the first exhibition up and running I naturally reached out to her to tickle her interest and luckily she liked to be tickled and joined me!Back in the day she was the first market owner that ever allowed me to bring my fluffy vulvas on display. It gave us an opportunity to hang out and get to know each other better and I guess our friendship blossomed into a gorgeous open flower now! She played an amazing role on Chapter 1 and naturally she joined again for Chapter 2 with her beautifully coloured and conscious art. This is what she has to say about herself:
Sonya Mulligan is a painter, crafter, poet, director, and producer. She predominantly paints complimentary caricatures of women without eyes as a statement about women not being seen or recognized. She is the host of Pride Poets, a monthly poetry night held in Street 66. She is the director of the feature documentary Outitude: Irish lesbian community. She is the producer of Revolting Women, a rebel cabaret.
